{Our Wedding}

We met in college.  We were both in AFROTC.  I had never pictured myself getting married before I was 25, and I did not go to college to get my "Mrs." degree! I knew his name and thought he was cute before he knew who I was :) I am not one to make a move and we never would have happened if he hadn't decided to talk to me. When we finally officially met I almost bit my tongue I was so nervous to talk to my crush! He stole a kiss on his 21st birthday and we have been together ever since. We talked for hours at a time. We studied together at the library like little dorks :) We went on runs together. We did fun outdoor activities together. We cooked together. We met each others families. We dated for a year. Then we discussed him pursuing his Spec Ops dreams. He chose me instead :)  He had seen his other options - he told me he wasn't going to let me go. I was the only one he wanted to be with - forever.  And I felt the same way about him!

So he graduated with a degree in Math,
Commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the USAF to serve as an Analyst
(farthest thing from Spec Ops, but perfect for a husband/future father),
and we got married.

All three of those things happened on the same day.

You might say that is a very "big day" in the grand scheme of things.

Our Parents: Our Role Models
We are both blessed with parents who successfully give the traditional marriage a try,
every single day.

Thank you to our closest family & friends for blessing us with your presence as we said our vows
on the humid and buggy San Antonio day in May!
